Are you bored of having a formal indoor dinner party? Why not have a barbeque party. Make use of your grill and your garden space to host the event. Be sure to clean up the space, weed and water your plants using hose or ssprinklers days before it. To upgrade and make it stylish you will need a few items to enhance the atmosphere. If it is a poolside bbq party, an umbrella shade can be perfect for it. There are also gazebos and benches that you can put up for your visitors. You can also enhance it by putting additional garden accents like lightings, grapevines and planters.

Using this area, your guests will have more freedom to move around and mingle with one another. They can even probably grill their own steak since a lot of us prefer their steak cooked in a different way. Utilize the space by having some games for adults and children alike, playing Frisbee, badminton, card games etc are just some of the activity your guest can do.

Compared to other types of garden it might not look as great but a vegetable garden has a lot of advantages. Since I am inclined to cooking, I had an idea of growing my own vegetables. When they are already ripe I can just harvest instead of buying which will be cheaper. I can cut up with my grocery expenses. At least I can be assured that my food is fresh.  It is also a great activity for the whole family.

The backyard is the perfect spot for my vegetable garden, it has rich soil and the sun is directly hitting it, in addition there is accessible water supply near it. Since I am just a beginner, I plan to have a small garden and to plant those which are easy to grow like to tomatoes, lettuce, squash, carrots, beans, beets, radishes, potatoes and broccoli. Hopefully I can keep up with the watering and weeding so eventually I can reap all the fruits of my labor
